How Easy Is It to Use the GE Smart Countertop Microwave Oven
Unlike most microwaves for dorms, small apartments and offices, the GE Smart Countertop Microwave Oven is slightly larger as it comes with a capacity of 0.9 cu Ft. Most entry-level microwaves often come with a capacity of 0.7 cu feet.
This means that you can easily warm food using somewhat bigger plates due to the slightly bigger microwave capacity.
Using this microwave is pretty straightforward as all the buttons are well-labelled making them easy to decipher. The control panel is located on the right side of the microwave and features a slightly skewed menu.
With the COMFEE’ EM720CPL-PMB and the Farberware Countertop Microwave, the buttons were layered in sections. However, with the GE Smart Countertop microwave, the buttons appear to have no form of clear arrangement whatsoever.

Connecting the microwave to the Wi-Fi is a process that’s a little bit complicated.
You will first need to download the Smart HQ app on your phone and then create an account. The Smart HQ app is available on both Google Play and the Apple Store.
Start the application and then connect your phone to the microwave.
The Microwave’s SSID information is located underneath the door, on the right side. To access this information, you will first need to open the door. Once you have keyed in the SSID information and the password located on the door, the application will search for your home wi-fi.

That being said, while using the microwave is quite simple, using/activating the smart features on the GE Smart Countertop microwave can be somewhat complicated especially if you are doing this for the first time.
